Detox Water Recipes for Clear Skin and an Energy Boost

 

Water is life, yes we all know, but you do ever get tired of the taste of plain water? Sometimes, you want to spice up your daily serving of H20, and add a little flavor. I have tried all of these detox water recipes and I like them because they make me feel cleansed, although there is not any scientific data to prove this. However, if it makes you feel good, it probably is good, right? A lot of these recipes feature the addition of citrus fruits and veggies which contain Vitamin C and antioxidants that can contribute to a healthy immune, anti-aging, and youthful appearance. I like drinking detox water after workout and a couple times a week when I study as a stress-reliever. Check out these recipes and let me know what you guys think! Recipe #1

  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 1 sliced lime
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 32 oz of water

Recipe #2

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 8 sage leaves
  • 32 oz of water

Recipe #3

  • 1/2 strawberries
  • sliced grapefruit
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 32 oz of water

Recipe #4

  • 6 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 sliced orange
  • 2 sliced and peeled kiwi
  • 32 oz of water

 

**each recipe makes 4 servings of 8oz
